Rev up dat garden, Homegrowmen!
The snow has finally all melted off here. I've seeded one bed and covered it with welded wire to keep the cats out until I get the electric fence going again. The garlic planted last fall is really doing well. Some chard from last year is really filling out now. The sunchokes from last year are sprouting like crazy. The chickweed has simply exploded and is as tasty as ever.
I'm still filling several of the beds with composting materials. The main one has started to sprout 100s of pumpkin, squash, gourd plants of unknown type and hybridization. I had Yellow of Paris, acorn, butternut, etc all tossed into that compost. That end of the yard will probably be totally lost in jungle to those things.
So many seeds, so little space.
How are your gardens doing, Homegrowmen?
