I don't know much about /out/ things, and I want to keep my expenses as low as possible. I bought a tarp, planned to get a sleeping bag somehow, and made myself a knife.
I took an old pair of pruning shears, sharpened and lengthened the blade, replaced the missing hinge with an old bolt and nut.
I thought it would be useful to be able to use it as a knife and as shears.
What do you think ?
Also, should I make myself a sheath and carry the knife part alone ?
