I usually only carry 4L maybe 5L (3L hydration bladder + 1-2L bottle) out here in the northwest and honestly I could probably get away with half that because there's water sources everywhere but I'm thirsty AF and go through 4L per day minimum. Good thing you have that backpack though, how are those btw? I've debated ditching my osprey atmos 65L to go ultralight but not sure if it's worth it, the atmos is comfy af.
