>>2209789You get used to the heat. I grew up in it, so it doesn't bother me much. The people that move here say they acclimate to it after awhile. I've lived in both Arizona and Nevada. If you want just desert, I recommend Arizona more. The desert in the central part of the state is very scenic; you can find dozens of types of cactus, all kinds of bugs and critters. It's a beautiful place. Getting to watch the sun set on the Superstitions every day is an experience too. I don't have any pictures of it, and my Google Images picture isn't that accurate, but it gives you an idea. If you like the desert and you like /out/, I really recommend moving to Arizona.
