>>2097553Unironically use all trails. You have to be picky with their categories, and know exactly what you're looking for, but it is really helpful sometimes. Another option is to find a national forest, BLM land, or conservation land that is open to camping. Sometimes town land and state parks allow dispersed camping, but not usually. In my area, though, most state parks are abutting empty land you can camp on. You just have to find the maps of those properties, or get a lil GPS.
