if you end up going to Denmark here are some useful sites, might be hard to translate depending on where you from but here goes
this is our national map facilities, in the top right you can choose which facilities to display
>https://udinaturen.dk/map-pagethe map on Udinaturen is kinda shitty and you cant really do distance calculation, so this is the real nerdy shit, this site might be awful to try and translate but i will toss it your way anyway, its basically the really detailed proffesional government survey map, you even have mappings of denmark going back to 1877
but basically in the top gray bar, you have a button called "værktøjer" that opens a dropdown menu, here you can select "mål længe/ areal" which lets you measure a set distance or calculate the size of an area, then there is "Vis højde og position" where if you click on a position, it gives you the height above sea level and coordinates, and then under those where it says "Tegn på kort" theres various tools that allow you to draw on the map to plan a route, and then obviously you hit the printer icon to ... print, remember to set ot to grayscale or your printer will be fucked
>https://sdfekort.dk/spatialmapalso heres a book from 1908 on or distinct genetically deformed beech trees, they are fun to try and find
