I found this old axe-head on my stepfathers attic
Im refurbishing it and will put a new handle on it, but what sort of axe is this?
its obviously not a splitting axe and its a bit big for a carving axe
its edge has a chisel grind and the head is really oddly designed, sort of like the whole head was designed after the chisel grind, giving it a blade that doesnt rest in the center of the head but actually on the left-hand side
