actually wait I have just one last question. is growing jasmine on a 6ft trellis panel an option? the prevailing winds in london/UK are from the SW and W and the fence would face southeast (if you draw a line on a map, it would sit on the southwest line), so bright sun from 8am till 7pm in spring. some weeks a year there are strong gusts that make the neighbour's broken fence creak. so is the position bad for jasmine or should I look at a stronger climber?
