I picked up a 1968 Alberg 30 for $2.5k late last October which I've been slowly updating.
The boat obviously needed some tlc but has a well running atomic four that i might take out eventually.
Sailed it from Lorain, Ohio to Buffalo, New York right before the season ended, will be a beautiful boat with a new coat of varnish.
Good deals on boats are out there you just have to keep an eye out, Craigslist is a good place to look but many boats are sitting in some boatyard that wont ever get advertised anywhere but word of mouth or talking to the staff at said yard.
