>>551712hey, fishermen, im thinking about going after a shark from the surf (i have a 5.5 foot rod rated for 100 pound test, and a penn longbeach no 68 reel spooled with 500 yards of 50 pound test line i use for king rigging, i think that will be good enough) but im not sure on hooks, i was looking at the mustad 39960D circle hooks because theyre big and only about a dollar a piece, but the hooks are (from what ive read online) smaller than other hooks. if i want something to bring in a 5-8 foot shark, which size should i get? 14/0, 16/0, or 20/0?
