Threw out one of those nightcrawlers I picked last night, and caught a good 16" largemouth! I almost never target bass but these nightcrawlers are the perfect size for it. I just hook them twice right in the middle like a wacky rig. Toss it out, and just real slow retrieve pick it off the bottom, let it fall, slow retrieve, let it fall. First cast this guy smacked it right when it came up to the surface on retrieve! Haven't caught a bass in at least a year. Just not the fish I go to the lake thinking about catching. But today it was a lot of fun! I also caught 4 or 5 long ear sunfish I didn't take pictures of.
