Belanglo State Forest is where the serial killer Ivan Milat (see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backpacker_murders ) had buried his victims.
Of course, it’s supposed to warn people about the working pine plantation that makes up the accessible part of the state forest. I think Milat actually hid his victims in the larger, non-plantation areas more to the west.
If there's ever an /out/ & /k/ommando innawoods meetup in Australia, this would be the place! Hunting-legal, and its reputation has kept a steady stream of Psychopaths dumping their victims here.
