>>2084029I normally always go with tarp and bivvi unless I'm in the mountains. Id say all you need to decide is how big you want it. I use a 3x3 to be comfy but if I'm staying light ill go smaller, just big enough to fit myself and my kit under. You can buy stand alone bug nets to go under your tarp, just take the time before you go out to get it set up properly. I always rate tarp camping, always makes me feel closer to nature
