I got consistent 7.5 minutes boil time on cold water at 38F. That being said, I was thinking of taking tin snips and just removing a bit of material in the middle, to make a circle for flames to actually hit the pot, rather than have to fight the holes. Just a few though, the holes seem to act in such a way now to capture and burn gas, this thing really starts spitting fire after about 5 minutes burning. Pointless?
