>>2463860I've had excellent luck with minnow bait in lakes, especially if there are already minnows in the water. The fish sees it and recognizes it as its primary source of food (minnows). Why eat a fly or a worm when you can eat delicious minnows? Not an expert btw, just my personal experience.
