>>860914>>860884The metal neck (the lock) part is not the part to be worried about, mine hasn't rusted. The blade, however, is really prone to rust. I've put mustard on mine, to prevent brown rust. This gives it a nice little patina.
I recommend opinel for edc/small tasks. Sharp knives out of the box. I didn't like the style at first, but it grew on me when I did some customisation.
