>>339103>>339300I think the flavor really depends on the variety. I've never had one taste like a raspberry. Only like tomatoes. I did some googling and they are Easter Prickly Pear (Opuntia humifusa). The fruit is a bitch to eat because the needles are really tiny and come off in bunches when they touch your skin. The fruit are covered in them, so cleaning them off is a real chore.
These things grow just about anywhere though.
