i tied some in chartreuse and then realised after the fact that one of these hooks is not like the other and im really sitting here looking at them deciding if im autistic enough to cut a perfectly good fly off of a solid hook to retie it on a slightly larger but otherwise identical hook so that it's not a centimeter shorter than the other flies. all that said, i dont see any reason you couldn't catch freshwater bass on this fly. it's basically a deciever with no feathers and only half the fron collar.
