>>1389730True, gear isnt an excuse. That's why i'm not using it as one, you gave me a suggestion and i told you why it wouldn't work for me.
>lol just use your school backpackCant
>lol dude you don't even need a packlol what am i supposed to say here.
But at the end of the day yeah, first hike is this weekend.
>>1389737>further evidence hereUsing a simple comparison to try and convey an idea is evidence that i am looking for an excuse to not hike? What kind of absolute back hatted tom, dick & harry fuckery is that. Well im sorry i didn't come here and complain about my lack of preparedness before hand so that you could mentor me in the art of being a dumb ass. All i can imagine is some poor guy "Hey fellas, i want to go on hikes but i literally have no shoes" only to have your undeservedly pompous ass descend from the heavens and impart upon him the divine mantra of Darwin award recipients the world over "lmao bro stop making excuses and just do it"... He was found dead a week later, having stepped on any number of the reasons you don't go barefoot.
If i be nice and ignore the second part of your post, you do actually have a good point though. Unfortunately i had to make a compromise in my spending. My thinking is that i can use a very fluffy blanket as a filler. I am aware that more weight than necessary isn't that smart, but then again neither is hiking in crocs.
