>>2371694I say fear not about introducing weeds, that's kinda the whole point. Though I am more picky about some weeds over others. Creeping charley (Glechoma hederacea) for example I pull as soon as I see it inside a bed and toss in the sun to die. It's perennial and once it's roots take hold it's a pain to get out. I let it run rampant otherwise though cause it's easy to pull when in the way and bees and other insects love it. Garlic mustard I also pull on sight because it inhibits the growth of other plants etc. In general though I let anything grow until I need to put something better that it would compete with and then it's snail food. Dried grass clippings are just great, ironically though the most tenacious weed that will probably end up introducing into your garden is grass.
>>2371748I love all weeds duuuuude! I do indeed like a toke or cookie now and then but we mostly grow it for my wife's chron's which it works wonders on and fortunately we can just grow it out in the open like any other plant now.
Here's my cornelian cherries which took over a year in the fridge to sprout and are looking a little rough now because even under shade cloth they're still getting used to real sun, but looking better each day and by this time next year should be rocking.
