>>2402610in the north western coast of Australia, there's a beach that probably has the biggest tides in the world when the tide is out, the ocean can't be seen or heard, it's literally gone, and it comes in like a fucking tidal wave. it's a very remote place and I was there alone 4wding along the beach. at night as the tide was coming in I decided to walk to the water and do some fishing, when I finally made it to the water and saw how fast the water was coming in I ran back to dry sand. shit was fucking scary.
anyway the next day I saw a wrecked car and took a walk up to it, sand around the wreck was quicksand and almost got myself stuck..
anyway. that beach is fucking insane.
