I usually switch up the boards I main a whole lot so I rarely have more than one, last I mained was /vg/, then I got tired of vidya and got in to /out/ in the past year
I just use boards like
/tv/ - when I need something watch I fly through the catalog and see if there's any non-shit threads about some actual unironic kino
/pol/ - when a happening happens or I need to catch up on news
/vg/ - once every week to check on certain games even if I don't play them
I think I'm growing out of 4chan, luckily I'm growing /out/ of it though so I have opportunities to make friends or something if I ever lose my anonymous ones
