>>813867Snags happen. It's not the end of the world but gets annoying when you lose 3 or 4 lures in one session even when you are trying to be careful. I have some spots with rocky drop-offs that love to eat up Texas rigs and it is impossible to get the rig loose. But that's not as bad as losing $10 Rapalas and $7 Mepps all the timr. My one lake has so many of my Mepps snagged in random spots.
You could try and go diving for lures, but like Hatchery Anon said, they rust and fade so it would have to be a really recent snag to get anything nice.
I thought about putting some chicken wire weighted down with bricks in some of these popular spots. It would piss people off and maybe they would avoud the spot but I would know exactly whete it is and avoid it. Plus if I could get to it, I could get a ton of free lures.
