I’ve tried to read the wikis or watch a few YouTube videos but there is just SO MUCH information, all these different kind of rods, baits, strategies, types of fish etc. It’s all gotten a bit confusing.
I’d just like to know, what I realistically need to get started and go about doing it, to see if it’s something I’d like to do, before I start getting into all the fancy gear you can buy and so on.
What do I need? How much am I looking to spend? Is starting as we enter winter advisable for a total newbie?
