There have been some requests for an /out/ sticky with some helpful links and guides for those new to outdoorsmanship, as well as a clearer explanation of which topics should be posted here. I think it would be best if /out/ develops their sticky themselves like /mu/ did with their sticky (

Ideally we'd want to construct a single post with one hi-res image, which gives a basic introduction to the board as well as a few helpful links. So if you know of any great resources for fellow outdoorsmen, please post them in this thread.
