and the thing actually does work, as long as it it isn't windy.
He brought it over and we were sitting on the back patio and he turned it
on and we could see the mosquitos heading right for us, only to hit the 3'-4'
diameter "force field" of bug repellent emitted by the gadget and turn right
the fuck around.
I only use it in my tent, turning it on and setting it on the foot of my cot as I'm
getting ready for bed, leaving the tent door open to drive out any mosquitos
that might have snuck into the tent.
When out and about, I spritz some DEET spray (the higher the percentage
the better) on my legs and if the mosquitos are particularly bad, on my hat
also and that usually works well enough for me.
