Standing on the shore I thought that there is nothing so uninviting than the frozen shore with all the broken and pointy icebits against a pitch black background. I took a few step on the level part of the ice that was closest to the shore and the primal part of my brain immediately started screaming danger danger, get a way, don't go any further or you will absolutely fucking die.
It was so spooky that it almost felt like the ocean was trying to pull me into it, as I started walking away from it I felt immediate relief.
