The Sissipuukko blade is basically a thick wedge with one quite large angle bevel on it whereas a "normal" Lauri blade for instance has quite a long flat primary bevel with a much smaller angle secondary bevel on the tip.
TL;DR regrinding a Sissipuukko is basically the same as making a whole new blade, you need skills and proper tools. It could get very expensive very fast.
The best is just to keep a Sissipuukko as it is, it's a great knife and everything, just a bit silly for most tasks.
Pic related, an old RK62 bayonet, you can see from where the Sissipuukko got started. Funny thing though that even these bayonets have a proper primary and secondary bewel, you could sharpen one of these into a really proper knife if you wanted!
