Sort of popular amongst mechanics, They are super comfortable and weigh about half what my last pair of work boots (Thorogoods, which are also great boots) did. I got sold on spending the ~$170 on them after talking to some other guys who'd had them for years. I rarely get a year out of work shoes before my feet start to hurt, but these I've had for 3 years still going strong. Their slip-on ones are most popular, but I prefer the laced versions so I can tighten up if I know I'm about to get into some shit
