Getting around Nepal on a budget can be an adventure on its own with terrible traffic jams heading out of the capital Kathmandu. It'll take up to 12 hours just to travel 200 miles by local bus due to bad road conditions and frequent stops but it's nice seeing the landscape gradually change as you get closer to the nature conservation areas.
