>>1636753It really depends on where you are going, but generally speaking, dispersal and staying away from surface runoff locations is what you wanna try for. Contrary to popular belief, shitting in a hole is pretty meh compared to other things you can do (especially since most people don't dig deep enough); if you absolutely have to shit in a hole, mix some dirt and water in there and stir it up with a stick to aid in decomposition. If you're somewhere with a decent amount of sun, find a rock to smear your shit on so that it bakes and turns to dust. If you're someplace where decomposition is very slow (like at very high elevations), you're gonna want to pack in dog poop bags and pack out your poop.
