>>1563048you get what you pay for. yakima and thule make quality products. yakima is more gimmicky i'd say, but if you aren't into the gimmicks you can get a basic rack and saddles/whatever. i have rhino rack crossbars with yakima sweetroll saddles. i've actually tried cheaper saddles and the gimmicky sweetroll was by far the best.
that said, i'm getting a pickup soon. i'm a saltwater kayak fisherman and i have a ton of shit on the yak that i have to remove every time i put it on the roof. a pickup with a bed extender (
