>>910506And if you see an Abu combo you like, I wouldn't hesitate on that. They normally give you decent rods with their setups too. The rod that came with my $79 Cardinal SX spinning combo was actually pretty nice until I broke it being a dumbass.
I wish Shimano sold some of their cheaper reels as combos. It's so much nicer buying combos when you are only trying to spend ~$100 since you tend to save about $20 vs buying the rod and reel separate.
Also if you have a Bass Pro nearby (or even online) check out their stuff. I know they have those Bionic setups on sale a lot and then I have heard good things about their tourney special or whatever combos.
