My humble opinion is that no amount of synthetic fiber is acceptable in wool garments. Despite the benefits it may offer to the fit and comfort of the item, it will drastically reduce its lifespan.
>>2844768This hasn’t been my experience. I have smartwool socks that I’ve heavily used for 5 years that are still in good shape. As long as you are wearing good fitting shoes and aren’t washing/drying them too much, your wool socks should last a long time.
