I noticed there are several fishing threads on /out/ all at once... many of which are filled with newbies like me asking questions about fishing basics. Maybe we can set up a wiki page for general info + links to more detailed sources on stuff like what the differences are between spinner, baitcasting, and fly fishing, what kinds of gamefish are common in the US/EU/Aus (and what methods are generally used for each), how to tie basic knots, etc...
Maybe this could also be expanded into a general /out/ wiki with sections on camping, hiking, geocaching, hunting, etc...
