>>2600251>who caresMe, I care. One of lifes fundamental joys is to create. Which is why I enjoy growing plants, raising animals, building things from furniture, buildings, systems etc.
But I'm denied creating a family. My offspring. Something many others get.
I'd be more pissed if this was exclusive to humans, but I can find this pattern through out nature. No matter how good a seed is, no matter how vigorous the plant, if it does not have a "mate" it cannot fulfill it's destiny.
Men greater than me have died without passing on their genes even though they should have.
Men far worse than me have sired dozen of children.
The underlying dysgenics have my sense of right reeling.
Imagine you had a bunch of plants, that are weak, infected by diseases, but all bare fruit due to abundant similar genetic mates around them. And then you have this mutation of a giga chad plant that is immune to said diseases, grows big and strong, could produce lots of fruit if given the chance, but due to being a single outlier, will live and die off never having passed on it's seeds.
What a horrid fate. At least the plants lack the cognitive ability to grasp the situation they are in, maybe their fate and the ridiculousness of it does not torment them. But I wasn't spared the burden of consciousness.
