>LONG LIFE DURACELLS.thought my geiger counter was broken, nope, it was because i was using shite, kodak batteries. put in some standard duracells, works like a charm. i thought it was broken for years, nearly bought a new tube for it at great expense. they are selling 10 and 20 year shelf life duracells in supermarkets now (UK) cheapest supermarket for them is quality save/home bargains.
