I feel like such an idot as a kid granted I found some absolutely once in a lifetime things innawoods on my grandfathers property. At the age I was I should have not been handleing those artifacts I remember finding arrow heads and spear heads and playing with them then Chucking them into the river.... Or this one time that haunts my memories is I has a super super old stone carved axe head and I kept finding things I could crush with it.... Eventually I broke it in half and left it in the woods somewhere....
However seince then I have made a 20-30 peice collection of artifacts such as
A what I assume is a chipped Flint tamahawk head
One spear head
A hand carved turquoise turtle
Musket balls
And like 20 arrow heads
And my crowning one that I don't have in my collection any more is a un identified fossilized femur that was about 6in in diameter and about 19in long and it was donated to the local University where they said they would carbon date it and put it on display In one of their collections or something... I was too young to remember
