I also kind of like silly little constant maintaining tasks like that. I forsee being frustrated this winter due to lack of daylight, having jobs other than than sniw removal might be good.
Previously i lived in an enclosed semi finished room in a barn for a winter, and i ran the 1500 btu heater off a 20lb tank with no regulator. I had no problems i dont know if that was luck or not though.
Three candles and an oil lamp have me pushin 70 tonight.
