Look, I'm not one of those Internet warriors who think suppressors make guns silent. That said, I like the Osprey's asymmetrical design--more volume in the can means greater attenuation. If there's any suppressor you could use without earmuffs or plugs, this one would be it. It's the only suppressor I have hopes of using without any other hearing protection. Naturally, if I ever get one, and it's still too noisy, I'd use additional protection. I think with this model, shot wet, I wouldn't have to.
