I cut the numbers down to 1 or 2 items each to save space. I have a CPR mask in my kit. And before the uneducated start bitching. I am CPR certified, and I have performed CPR on a human.
These basic first aid kits have their place, like a school nurse who treats skinned knees. But if you are going to be out, and rescue is hours away. You need more than a basic kit. You probably won't die from a blister, but you will if you cannot stop bleeding.
