Only pain is going to be managing the lipos, and yes you'd want a platform (painted 1/2" plywood) for backcountry terrain. However you can start to compete with the big production houses using cine zooms. Another bit of good news is that the amount of time it takes to park your vehicle and be recording in the air is ~12 minutes if you practice and launch where you park. Definitely too heavy a rig for one man to carry up a 4 mile alpine trail, doable off a forest road. Also you need a second operator to operate the gimbal, potentially a 3rd operator as a focus puller. Find friends that have good k/d ratios in first person shooters, they have good joystick reflexes and can become /out/ bros
