>>1822120This is a ling he's referring to. They can be deep and can be shallow just depends. My buddy caught this one in about 115 feet of water same with the halibut. I lost a good ling at the boat, had a black bass in its mouth and thats what i was hooked into. Let go of the bass as we went to net it, pretty depressing but oh well.
