So I recently moved to the japanese countryside and rented an old abandoned house full of trash, the old man in charge told me I could do whatever so scavenging around I found this old custom handmade full sized wool cloak and decided to take it. It's -6°C right now with some snow and it behaved great, if not even a little too warm with just a core and a tee under it.
I'm now thinking about taking it with me since I'm planning about walking from Hokkaido to Okinawa next month and it could come in handy during the first half as a cloak, pillow, rain cover, etc. But still feel a bit awkward about looking like Dracula when out and about, should I do it bros? It's around 3 or 4 kg btw so along with the backpack, tent, sleeping system and other stuff it'd be about 25kg or so, so it's not exactly light either. Any comments appreciated ty
