>>2466791Honestly I don't think a trout set up and steelhead setup aren't very well interchangeable unless you're running a 7. Also, if swinging is your jam, Skagit heads are really cool. Opst commando heads are great for single hand rods, and you can cast them overhead too. I run my Skagit head on 50lb mono but 25-35 is 'normal' and then you can interchange tips depending on the water you're fishing. They can be a pain if youre doing fishing where you want to strip the fly right to the rod like esox but if you don't have to be within 15 feet of your fly you can set them up with a downstream roll cast then do some one handed spey to reset your presentation.
