From the parking lot you'd go down to sort of a big landing where the local club had a tent and BBQ's set up. On that landing you'd look over the sno-x track - probably 10-15ft below that spectator area. Really wasn't a bad spot to watch from.
But the track was really compact... smaller area than most of the other places I've raced at. So everything was real tight corners, short jumps, etc. Being on a longtrack was a huge disadvantage there, where the short-tracks had much more room for error.
I do a lot better at hillcross. Sled's more appropriate for that sort of racing. Pic related.
Need to get a clutch cover on order, once that's in I'll send it and the primary out for balance/rebuild. Couple other little parts I need for the secondary... get that all together and installed, day or two on the snow to get it dialed in and it should be a good runner. Keeps me in improved-stock class since it's not an engine mod, but it's about 10-15% more efficient transfer of power.
