But watching tv because there isn't "anything else to do" is a cop out to not having an interesting personality that can facilitate hobbies or talk about things that have some original thought in them.
Haha. I have a lot to talk about in that concern.
Personally I view gear and things as such in this way: if it's value in quality outweighs how much it bears on you it's worth it. Once camp is broken, and you sitting down resting. Your not going to worry about how much effort it took to get there, just that your enjoying the benefits.
This parallels well with work ethics. Just bust ass and youll enjoy the parts you want to. Now, if ou are one who cannot enjoy nature without feeling like your walking out your door with shoes, shirt and shorts.... Ok maybe the park is more of your scene.
