The water around me is crazy low, but it has allowed for the bigger fish to corral the little ones in the shallows. It has been fun just watching them crash the shore, grabbing at the smaller fish. I threw a small spoon, and was slaying smaller bass, bluegill, and some larger crappie. That's not what I'm posting about though. Topwater bite was also really good, but the bone colored Zara Spook I brought was not bringing any decent strikes. I decided to try and change the look of it. All I had was a sharpie, so I tried to make a pattern of fins and gills. It mainly ended up looking like a child's scribbles.
