This is assuming I'm already wearing proper clothing. Otherwise, I'd be forced to sub the cordage out for a rain jacket. Rain-wear is by far the most important piece of kit in my part of the world, trumping even cutting tools and sources of ignition IMO.
Pic related, taken this weekend. It was 25 degrees and blue skies when I left in the late morning. By mid afternoon I was caught in an insane snow / hailstorm.
I'd prefer to have a bit more gear to make hunting / foraging easier, but I've killed grouse by throwing large rocks before, so I'd make do.
