I know nothing about this and am pretty much starting from scratch. I spend a lot of time /out/ almost none of it fishing in my life.I had no idea there were traveling rods that weren't telescoping. I was just thinking whatever is best for backpacking. Sometimes through some heavier brush. Budget wise, $100ish? no clue what that will get me.
